The Diamond Field

My inspiration is my mom when she was in high school and she had to do a test on how you can drop an egg off a ladder and have to keep the egg from being broken or you get an f. So I decided that was the material I was going to use and that made my story a lot easier. I decided to write this story because my two things I want to do when I grow up are archeology and physics together.

The Diamond Field

Once upon a time there is a man named Galileo and he is a geologist. His parents named him after the physicist from a long time ago. All Galileo wanted was to go to the diamond field because that was the place to be at the site where Galileo worked. Just remember Galileo is a very daring guy and is also pretty smart.

The diamond fields are mountains that are steep and stubby at the same time. One day in Egypt (that is where the diamond fields are) when the night was crisp and warm while everyone was getting ready to leave Galileo stayed a little after and found something amazing!

Galileo found a stolen piece from the sphinx about a mile away! The next morning he went to tell his boss about it and guess what… Galileo got to go to the diamond field and he even got to go now because they go early and they stay late.

He got to stay the whole day. When he got there Galileo went up to get the three types of rocks: metophoric, ingenus, and sedimentary rocks because that is his job. While he was getting more rocks the rope to bring the rocks down broke. He had come up to the top to see how the rocks could get down because he can get down but rocks can’t. They don’t have legs, rocks can’t climb.

Galileo then remembered that in physics class they had a test about how gravity works and they did it with either a rock or an egg. Of course he chose a rock. In the test you had to make an environmentally safe box to drop down an egg or a rock.Galileo could get the rocks down and then he would be able to climb down and finish the job. Guess what … he did. After that he became CEO of the company and his quote was that “ physics and geology are related and I am their third cousin and also  they are the two oldest subjects and my work will live on with him.” Galileo is still famous today for his courage and it is all because he worked hard and tried.
